Where have I abandoned myself in order to keep the peace?

This Full Moon rises in Aries directly across from the Libra Sun, illuminating one of the most important relationships we will ever navigate: the relationship between Self and Other.

Libra teaches us relationship, reciprocity, compromise and the delicate art of meeting another person somewhere in the middle.

But Aries asks something very different:

Where are YOU in all of this?

There is a difference between compromise and self-abandonment.
Between creating peace and silencing ourselves to maintain it.
Between loving another and losing ourselves within the relationship.

Aries brings us back to the instinctive Self — our desires, our anger, our courage, our boundaries and the parts of us that know what we want before we begin negotiating it away.

And under the light of a Full Moon, something becomes visible.

Perhaps we recognize where we have made ourselves smaller. Where resentment has been building beneath politeness. Where we have waited for permission. Where we have remained in situations simply because disrupting the balance felt more frightening than admitting the truth.

But this isn’t necessarily about choosing me instead of you.

The Aries–Libra axis asks us to discover whether I can remain fully myself while standing in relationship with you.

Can I love without disappearing?

Can I compromise without betraying myself?

Can I honour another person’s needs without abandoning my own?

Can I allow someone else to be who they are without making their choices responsible for who I become?

This Full Moon may illuminate exactly where that balance has been lost — and where we are being called back into ourselves.

Not through war.

Not through unnecessary destruction.

But through the courage to finally say:

This is who I am.
This is what I need.
This is what I desire.
And I am no longer willing to leave myself behind in order to be loved.
