IMBOLC SABBAT CANDLE

Imbolc marks the quiet turning of the year

not spring in full bloom, but the promise of it

Held between winter’s grip and the first stirring of life beneath frozen ground, Imbolc is the festival of returning light. Traditionally observed as the hearth-fire is rekindled, it honors milk in the pail, grain in the storehouse, and the unseen movement of seeds waiting in dark soil.

It is a threshold sabbat.

A law of becoming rather than arrival.

Associated with Brigid — keeper of the flame, guardian of the hearth, patron of inspiration and renewal — Imbolc calls us to tend what is small, tender, and not yet visible. This is not a sabbat of force. It is one of patience, devotion, and quiet intention.

This Imbolc candle was created as an offering to that moment.

Scented with soft milk accord, oat and grain, rice powder, a whisper of honey, and the faintest breath of early white blossom, it carries the feeling of warmth returning slowly to cold rooms. Clean. Gentle. Subtle. Never perfumed. A scent meant to hold space, not dominate it.

Adorned with a scattering of grains and early flower buds — symbols of sustenance, fertility, and life stirring before it is seen. Not adornment, but meaning. A reminder that growth begins long before it shows itself.

This candle is intended for:

– setting intentions for the coming season

– hearth rituals and devotional work

– honoring quiet effort and unseen progress

– lighting at dawn, dusk, or during reflection

Imbolc teaches us that not all magic is loud.

Some magic is warm milk, stored grain, a single flame held steady against the cold.
