The Work of Imbolc

Imbolc is the sabbat of quiet ignition.

Not the fire at its height but the ember that proves the flame survived.

This ritual marks the moment where intention is planted beneath the surface. Through purification, grounding, and focused intention, you are establishing the energetic groundwork for what is to come—not only in the weeks ahead, but through each Sabbat that follows.

What This Ritual Creates

• A guided ceremonial structure for purification, intention-setting, and threshold crossing

As the year unfolds, future Sabbat rituals carry this original intention forward, allowing Spirit to answer in stages, through season, symbol, and lived experience. What begins here is returned gradually, as all true growth is.

How to Work With This Ritual

• Best performed on Imbolc Eve or February 1, though it may be used throughout the season
• Intended to be played aloud in a quiet space
• May be revisited, reflected upon, and carried forward into future Sabbat workings
• No prior experience required—only presence and intention 

This ritual was created for witches who understand that real magic is not rushed—and that the Wheel does not turn in fragments.

This is the first step.
