The Cernunnos Seven-Day Ritual Candle was created as a sacred bridge between our world and the ancient, untamed spirit of the wild.

This is a candle for connecting with Cernunnos, the Horned One, Lord of the Forest and Keeper of the Wild Places. Light it when calling upon Cernunnos for guidance, protection, strength and wisdom, or when seeking to reconnect with the instinctive part of yourself that remembers its relationship with the Earth.

Cernunnos walks between worlds. His energy speaks to the cycles of nature, life, death and rebirth, and to the balance between strength and restraint, instinct and discipline. His presence can be called upon when we need the courage to stand firmly in who we are while remaining deeply rooted in the natural world.

This candle may also be incorporated into nature magick, rites of passage, shadow work, fertility workings and practices surrounding masculine energy. It is particularly suited to times when courage, endurance, clarity or focus are needed—or when we have become disconnected from our instincts and need to find our way back to the wild within.

The Revamped Seven-Day Collection

Each candle in the newly revamped Venus Moon Emporium Seven-Day Collection has been redesigned to become more than a dressed candle. The label itself has become part of the ritual.

The Cernunnos candle now carries its own Invocation to Cernunnos, along with guidance describing the purpose of the candle and the different ways it may be incorporated into your practice. You may follow the invocation as written or allow it to become the opening point for your own devotional work and communication with the Horned One.

Each candle is also ritually dressed with materia corresponding specifically to its purpose.

The Cernunnos candle is topped with the sacred Cernunnos incense blend, bringing the same ritual materia used in our Cernunnos incense directly into the candle itself. As the candle burns, the flame, wax and sacred dressing become part of a single devotional offering to the Horned One.
