Goddess Lilith is a female figure in Mesopotamian and Judaic mythology, alternatively the first wife of Adam and notoriously known as the primordial She-Demon. Lilith is cited as having been "banished" from the Garden of Eden for not complying with and obeying Adam and as a result is often hailed as the first feminist. In the Ancient Mesopotamian religion of Sumer, Assyria, and Babylonia Lilith signifies a Spirit or Demon. Whatever interpretation you relate with this powerful Goddess, Lilith is ‘the night’ and she embodies the emotional and spiritual aspects of darkness: terror, sensuality, and unbridled freedom (sexually, and morally).

To me, she is the quintessential goddess of the Left-hand path and the Goddess of the Qliphoth, where out of her the Left-hand tree is continuously born. She is my Patroness, Guide and Guardian.
